Lok Sahaita proudly announces a major milestone: all courses for the Lok Sahaita Marathon 2025 have been officially certified by AIMS–World Athletics, the global governing body for long-distance running and course measurement.

The certification was conducted by Kim Vivian, a Grade A international measurer from Australia, who visited Sukkur to meticulously measure and validate the event routes using internationally recognized standards.

This includes certification of the following courses:

Full Marathon (42.195 km)

Half Marathons (21.0975 km each)

10K Women’s Run (10 km)

All races are set to begin and end at IBA Public School Sukkur. The full marathon course extends to Khairpur and returns, offering scenic views of Sindh’s landscape, including banana plantations, expansive date orchards, and glimpses of the Indus River.

This international certification means that participant timings are now eligible for global rankings, qualification in world majors, and official record consideration. It represents a major step forward for the event and reinforces Lok Sahaita’s commitment to promoting global standards in sports.

With this achievement, Sukkur and Khairpur are now on the global athletics map, and the Lok Sahaita Marathon continues to inspire local and national athletes to aim higher.
