Panhenjo Rozgar Program (PRP)

Panhenjo Rozgar (Own Business) Program provides an opportunity to help people stand on their own feet and earn a living rather through small businesses. This is a move away from occasional charity donations to the poor people, in order to help lift themselves out of poverty and generate a consistent income.

Benefits of PRP

  • Occasional charity to poor people only helps them for a short while. For most of the year, they struggle to get food and other basic necessities of life. PRP provides them with a business that enables them to earn all year round, and become useful members of society.
  • Occasional charity in the form of food and clothes degrades their morale, and encourages them to expect regular free stuff to the extent that they start to think of it as their right rather than temporary help when they were in bad situation. PRP helps build their faith in themselves, in their ability to earn for themselves, and a possibility to grow their business through hard work.
  • PRP builds people’s financial awareness, how to manage loans, how to take profits, and how to leave enough money in the business to keep it running.
  • By putting more people in work, PRP can help reduce crime as well.

How can you help?

How can one avail the benefits of PRP?

If you, or someone you know would like to start a business with help from PRP, get in touch and we will arrange an interview to see which business would be suitable for your needs and circumstances.

We can help if 1) funds are available, and 2) you live in an area that we can cover from management point of view.

It is important to provide this business start-up facility in areas where we have management capability. As we increase our capacity to cover more areas, they will be added to the list.
