Welcome to the LST STEM Talent Search Program, a groundbreaking initiative by Lok Sahaita, proudly supported by the NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. On 20th May 2025, Lok Sahaita and NED University formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Senate Hall, NED University Karachi, marking a prestigious milestone in our shared vision for educational empowerment. The MoU was signed by Pir Muhammad Shah, Chairperson Lok Sahaita, in the esteemed presence of Dr. Noman Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of NED University, and Dr. Majida Kazmi, Director of Asma M. Hashmi STEM Center, NED University.

This visionary partnership is dedicated to unlocking the scientific potential of young minds across Pakistan, identifying talent from underrepresented regions, and guiding them toward a future of innovation, research, and excellence.

At the heart of the LST program lies a powerful belief: Every child has the spark of discovery within them. Our mission is to nurture that spark by providing mentorship, exposure, and opportunity to students who show exceptional promise in science and technology. Whether from a small town or a major city, LST aims to level the playing field for future scientists, engineers, and innovators.

The mission of the LST Stem Talent Search Program is to identify, inspire, and empower scientifically gifted students from all backgrounds, especially those from underserved and rural communities. Through innovation-driven learning, mentorship, and opportunities for real-world exploration, we strive to:

Foster a national culture of scientific thinking and research among youth.

Bridge the gap between talent and opportunity by providing access to leading academic institutions like NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi.

Encourage creative problem-solving and critical inquiry in young minds, nurturing them into future scientists, engineers, and innovators.
